Welcome

Welcome to the Cheshire Railway Modellers website. The club is based in Cheshire but we are an on-line organisation and membership applications are not confined to the county boundaries!

 

Membership of our club is free and obtained by registration on our forum.

 

Cheshire Railway Modellers, as an on-line model railway club, is not intended to be a replacement for membership of a conventional model club but is a compliment to such membership. We aim to share ideas and advice just as a conventional club would, but we are not confined to certain nights of the week for meetings - the internet is always open!

To report broken links and for other matters regarding the admin of this website:
We no longer maintain a "dot com" URL.
 
For 12 months during 2008/2009 we supported both dot com and dot org addresses side by side to ensure a smooth change from one URL to the other but with effect from Sunday 22nd November 2009 Cheshire Railway Modellers has no longer been responsible for any text, images or links which may be found on the old address.
 
There have been repeated instances of spam being received regarding the old URL. Cheshire Railway Modellers has no interest in the dot com address, it was dropped because it had commercial overtones and our group is better described by the dot org address.
 
 CRM has no further connection with the former URL.
 

Cheshire Railway Modellers is a non-commercial organisation. We do not accept paid advertising on this website, adverts in the side bar to the right of each page and elsewhere on the site are placed free of charge and relate only to model railway events and traders recommended by our membership.
